Soli Deo Gloria Choir ~ Bringing great music to Colorado Springs since 1973!
Soli Deo Gloria is Latin for "Glory to God alone". Johann Sebastian Bach, Christoph Graupner, George Frederick Handel and others used it to signify that their music was produced for the purpose of praising God.
Soli Deo Gloria Choir
Directed & Conducted by Nathaniel Voelker
We are one of the very few nondenominational, non-audition community choirs in Colorado and are dedicated to sacred choral music across the centuries as well as traditional Christmas carols for over 48 years!
Artistic Director and conductor, Nathaniel Voelker

Further back in history... A big thank you to all who joined us at our 2022 Christmas Concert on 17 December. We believe we had about 450 people in attendance, and another 220 or so watched the live stream of the performance.
And... we feel terrible that some may have tried to attend and could not get in. We experienced concert attendance beyond standing-room-only and believe that a few people could not get into the venue at all. Because of this, we worked hard to make the final set of concert videos available should you wish to watch and share, even though the Christmas season is now in the rear view mirror.

Note:
Although the vast majority of SDG singers have been vaccinated against COVID, SDG does not require COVID vaccinations to participate. The SDG board does encourage participants to follow medical and CDC guidance in regard to all vaccinations and other protective measures. Masks are not required, but are welcomed. Members are asked to get tested if COVID symptoms become present and skip practice if test results are positive. Also, singers are asked to either skip practice or remain separated in the back of the practice venue should they develop symptoms of other contagious diseases. Finally, participants are asked to acknowledge that risk assessment is an individual responsibility, which includes not only avoidance of illness risks, but of course also includes all other decisions involving health and safety.
