Soli Deo Gloria Choir ~ Bringing great music to Colorado Springs since 1973!
What is Soli Deo Gloria (SDG)? We are Colorado Springs' only non-auditioned, 501(c)(3) non-profit, adult community choir. We have rehearsed and performed at many venues over time. We are currently in residence at First Lutheran Church, but our members come from many different backgrounds and church affiliations. We are currently 115 members strong and growing! We're blessed to have many long time members while continuing to welcome new members at the start of each season! Please go to our "Join Us!" page for more information.
Our Mission: Soli Deo Gloria is a community choir dedicated to performing a wide range of sacred music for the people of the Pikes Peak region.
Our vision: High quality sacred choral music will be experienced and shared across generations.
Implementation: Soli Deo Gloria is Latin for "To God Alone be the Glory"... Glorifying God is our intent. We strive to do so by:
Presenting predominantly sacred choral music to a progressively wider and larger audience.
Improving the quality of our musical offerings
Growing and building a deep sense of community among members
Welcoming all singers and treating one another with respect
Increasing the number and location of concert venues with a focus toward people not familiar with the broad range of sacred music and who may find great comfort in this music
Supporting our activities with sound financial management and fund raising
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
We believe in the unifying power of choral music to enrich lives. We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all singers, without exception. Our approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is straightforward: we welcome all singers to join with us in pursuing our mission of performing sacred music for our community. Our choir is comprised of singers from different faith traditions. As reflected in our name, our shared goal is to glorify God through our music. We endeavor together to expand our audience so that more people in our diverse community can experience the uplifting power of great sacred music.

"We are able to offer free concerts several times each year because of audience donations. Please help us continue this tradition and expand our mission. THANK YOU!
The Soli Deo Gloria Choir is a nonprofit organization supported primarily by fees paid by each choir member, member-generated fundraising activities, and donations. Your tax-deductible donations are greatly appreciated and allow us to produce larger works that require orchestral support (since professional orchestra members must be paid for their time and effort). Our small budget also pays for rehearsal and performance space, score rental fees, programs, and administrative expenses.
You can easily and safely donate online through PayPal by clicking on the Donate button below.
Thank you for your support and generosity in bringing uplifting and encouraging music to our Colorado Springs community!
